This Portal was created back in 2000 by the state Government of Karnataka to improve the transparency and accuracy of the land records and to give people access to their land records digitally, before that all of the data was being recorded manually which used to cause many discrepancies sometimes thus leading to the frustration of the land owners and the department employees as well.
This platform right now has the records of 20million+ properties, which includes RTC, mutation reports, and other useful information regarding the land records. On this website, you will get an RTC document, RTC means records of rights, tenancy, and crops, and it is called Pahani. This document holds the information of ownership details, land type, crop and other relevant information
How to Login to Bhoomi Online Portal
Follow these steps to access your land records through Bhoomi Online:
- Visit the official Bhoomi portal: https://landrecords.karnataka.gov.in
- Click on “Citizen Services” or “Login”
- Enter your User ID and Password
- Solve the CAPTCHA and click “Login”
- Once logged in, access your land records, RTC, or mutation details

Note: If you don’t have an account on this official portal then you have to create an account first by Clicking on Create Account / Register. Account creation page will open.

How to Register
If you already have an account on Bhoomi Online Portal, simply click on landrecords.karnataka.gov.in and login using your credentials.
To register a new user account, click the register/create account button and it will take you to the account creation page. Provide the required details which include your mobile number, district, taluk, village, survey number and password. Follow the steps and your account will be ready to use.

How to Check RTC (Pahani) Current / Previous Years

- To access current and previous years RTC (Pahani) for the state of Kanataka, please visit landrecords.karnataka.gov.in website and login,.
- After opening the website, hit the VIEW RTC and MR options from the RTC Service station menu, as shown in the image below.

- Now chose current or previous year that you want to check for your RTC. After choosing the year, select your District, Taluk, Hobli, Village and survey number and click the Go button.
- After that, select the Surnoc, Hissa Number and Period, then click Fetch Details button.

- After clicking the Fetch Details, your Land ID and Owner details will appear on the screen, double check the details and hit view button as shown in the image below.

- After this, your RTC (Pahani) information will be shown on the screen like the below image, please use First, Last, Previous and Next buttons to view entire details.
